If I’m self employed working as an affiliate marketer can the Affiliate Network sue me for wages they’ve paid?

Can they file a civil suit for the wages they’ve paid to me? I’m being threatened with garnishment. I’m in California. The company that’s trying to sue me is in Utah and their lawyers are in Florida. Wouldn’t they have to come to California to file against me?

Did the network over pay you? Usually in the terms and conditions there will be a statement about where the law suite will be filed. You probably already agreed to it while applying.
